Manjul Bajaj’s collection of short stories, Another Man’s Wife and Other Stories (Hatchette India, 2012) was shortlisted for the prestigious ‘The Hindu Prize for Best Fiction 2013’. Her debut novel Come, Before Evening Falls was shortlisted for ‘The Hindu Best Fiction Prize 2010’. Elbie’s Quest (Scholastic India, 2013), her latest book, is for children.
Manjul grew up in Lucknow. She graduated in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, and did a Masters in Rural Management from IRMA at Anand (Gujarat) and another in Environmental Science from the University of London. For much of her adult life she has worked in the field of rural development and the environment. She currently lives in Gurgaon (India) with her husband and two sons.
