[Issue 10 / August 2014]

when everything germinates

wasp-voiced prophets gift
didactic prophylactic

according to current models
consequence follows preference

we break

seeking sanction
only where it’s certain to be granted

the chain separates
but the only release is extinction

respect means either
admiration or fear

and envy ate admiration
so fear it is

a poison that
infiltrates the seed

buoyed by
faith in the bullet

and stern

we’re at most ghost
at least, beast
